I have worked with the St David’s Partnership since 2012, and love being part of the close-knit community that is St David’s.
I have a scientific background, with a research masters in biophysics and honours degree in biology. I have been fortunate to travel around the world through my studies and research, spending time in South Africa, the Indian Himalayas, Germany and Sweden.
I am a firm believer in giving back to the community. I work as an expedition leader with the British Exploring Society, a youth development charity, where I take young people from different backgrounds into the wilderness – most recently on a canoeing expedition in the Canadian Yukon.
Having been a volunteer on the ward at my local hospital in Swansea, I am now training to be a Doctor!
I love the great outdoors and have set myself some fun challenges over the years, these have included cycling the length of Vietnam and participating in a ski expedition across glaciers in Svalbard. When at home I like to spend my spare time adventuring in the hills with my adventure dog Aggy, mountain biking, drinking coffee and donning pink tights while trying to relive my youth in ballet class!
