Given that I was born and bred in Swansea, it can surprise people that I am fully bilingual, with Welsh being my first language. I love speaking the language and am always pleased to have the opportunity to chat to clients in Welsh.
After completing my B.Ed. (Hons) at Cardiff College of Education, I taught in Cwmbran for two years before starting my career in financial services with Midshires Building Society, where I was responsible for promoting mortgages and investments as well as the day to day management of the branch.
I joined The St David’s Partnership in 1998 and offer a full range of financial planning and mortgage advice. Even though legislation and the mortgage process has changed enormously over the years, I still derive a great deal of pleasure in providing a helping hand through the buying process and ensuring that my clients are provided with the broadest and best options available in financing the purchase of their homes.
I’ve enjoyed staying fit and active all my life and, as well as playing golf, love spending time walking the footpaths in the countryside and along the coast of the Gower Peninsula. My wife and two children are very important to me and, from my perspective, the more family time we get, the better. Most nights you will find me in the kitchen, rustling up something tasty for whoever happens to be in. I like to prepare things from scratch and am keen on blending spice mixes, particularly for my home-made curries. Music is one of my other interests, especially anything played on the piano.
