I was born, raised and currently live in Barry, and help clients across the whole of South Wales from my base there.

My career in finance started more than 40 years ago, as an “A” level graduate with Commercial Union based in Cardiff.  I remained with them for 10 years, rising to the post of Area Sales Manager covering a territory from west Cardiff to Bridgend.

In 1988, I left to establish my own brokerage with Jon Pearce, eventually joining Jon as an Associate Partner with the St David’s Partnership in 2010.

In 2005 I made the decision to step back from pension and investment advice to concentrate on the field I know best – mortgages. I use my many years’ experience to help clients find and secure all types of mortgages, both residential and commercial, and also provide advice on life insurance products relating to mortgages as well as family protection policies.

I am able to offer a referral service for secured loans and commercial and semi-commercial finance.

My main interests outside of work are my two children, four grandchildren and socialising. Being too old to play rugby anymore, I now simply enjoy watching games, particularly at the top level. To keep active, my main passion now is golf, and I play regularly at Brynhill Golf Club.  I am honoured to have served as the Club Captain in 2017-18.
